We recently went to Cascade Head on the Hart’s Cove Trail. We had lots of Fun. It is 5.4 miles roundtrip with a killer of a hill at the start of the trail…So ending your hike is a bit like exhaustion. Very rewarding hike. In October in Oregon, there are tons of mushrooms around… They are around every corner and every log. 

This hike takes you through a gorgeous Sitka Spruce Forest and Hemlock forest.
The clincher in this hike is the beautiful scenic view of the Chitwood Creek waterfall.

Definitely a wonderful hike.
